On the main screen, tap “Pin”. The app saves the point where you are standing. The arrow points to it and shows the distance. No map is needed.

To stop, tap “STOP”. A 3–2–1 countdown starts; tap again to cancel it.

Direction comes from the phone's magnetic compass. Metal, magnetic cases, cars and nearby electronics throw it off. Step a couple of meters aside and move the phone in a figure eight. iOS will recalibrate the compass. Indoors and in a car, accuracy is lower.

Settings → Maps → “All maps of the world”. Pick a country, then a region, and tap ↓.

A region is downloaded once and then works offline. The app downloads only when you tap.

Downloaded maps are in “My maps” (Settings → Maps). To delete a map, swipe its row left. To update: ⟳ on a region or “Update all”, when a new version is available.

Downloading and updating maps requires a subscription.

Check that the region is downloaded: it should be in Settings → Maps → “My maps”. The overview world map is always available. Detailed maps exist only for downloaded regions. The map screen requires a subscription.

The search bar on the map screen searches all downloaded regions. Search runs on the phone, without internet; queries are not sent anywhere. Search requires a subscription.

Addresses come from OpenStreetMap and are not mapped everywhere. Search may not find a house. Then the app shows the nearest known house numbers on that street or says the street has none. It does not invent a location.

Free, with no time limit: the compass and the arrow, the “Pin” button, entering coordinates on the main screen, “Saved places” (up to 30), history (the latest 30 entries are visible).

Subscription — $4.99 per year: the map screen (picking a point on the map, address search, downloading and updating regional maps), up to 500 places, full history. Maps are updated at least once a quarter. The price in your country may differ.

Places and history entries above the free limit are not deleted. They become available again with a subscription.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → PinGo → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the paid year and are not charged again.

In PinGo: Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. The subscription is tied to your Apple Account, not to the device. The item is there even when the app shows no subscription.

The files stay on the phone; we do not delete them. The map screen closes. After renewal, everything opens again at once, with no new download. You can delete downloaded maps in Settings → Maps without a subscription.

While the app guides you to a point, it keeps receiving location with the screen off. Otherwise the distance would stop updating. iOS shows a blue indicator at the top of the screen the whole time. When you clear the point, background mode turns off. With no point selected, the app does not request location in the background.

No. PinGo has no accounts, advertising, analytics or server that stores your data. Coordinates are processed on the phone and are not sent anywhere. “Saved places”, history and settings stay on the phone. Deleting the app removes them. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

方向来自手机内置的磁力计。金属、磁性手机壳、汽车和附近的电子设备会干扰它。请离开干扰源几米，用手机在空中画一个“8”字。iOS 会重新校准指南针。在室内和车内，精度较低。

每个地区只需下载一次，之后可离线使用。应用只在你点按时下载。

地图界面上的搜索栏会在所有已下载的地区中搜索。搜索在手机上进行，无需联网；搜索请求不会发送到任何地方。搜索需要订阅。

地址来自 OpenStreetMap，并非所有地方都有标注。搜索可能找不到某栋房子。这时应用会显示同一条街上最近的已知门牌号，或提示这条街没有门牌号。应用不会编造点。

免费，无时间限制：指南针和箭头、“Pin”按钮、在主界面输入坐标、“已存地点”（最多 30 个）、历史（可查看最近 30 条）。

订阅——每年 $4.99：地图界面（在地图上选点、地址搜索、下载和更新地区地图）、最多 500 个地点、全部历史。地图至少每季度更新一次。你所在国家或地区的价格可能不同。

超出免费上限的地点和历史记录不会被删除。订阅后可再次查看。

订阅由 Apple 管理。在 iPhone 上：设置 → [你的姓名] → 订阅 → PinGo → 取消订阅。已付费的订阅期到期前仍然有效。不会再次扣费。

在 PinGo 中：设置 → 订阅 → 恢复购买。订阅与你的 Apple 账户绑定，而非设备。没有有效订阅时也可使用此选项。

文件保留在手机上，我们不会删除。地图界面会关闭。续订后一切立即恢复，无需重新下载。即使没有订阅，也可以在“设置 → 地图”中删除已下载的地图。

应用引导你前往某个点时，即使屏幕熄灭也会继续接收位置。否则距离会停止更新。在此期间，iOS 会一直在屏幕顶部显示蓝色指示器。清除目标点后，后台模式即关闭。未选择目标点时，应用不会在后台请求位置。

不会。PinGo 没有账号、广告、分析功能，也没有存储你数据的服务器。坐标在手机上处理，不会发送到任何地方。“已存地点”、历史和设置保存在手机上。删除应用会将其一并删除。详情请见隐私政策。
